“Existing board members and HCBH staff may recommend individuals to fill Board of Director member vacancies. The potential board member will attend a board meeting where he or she will give an introduction or him/herself and ask questions about the organization and serving on the board. An executive session will be held to determine if the person is to be accepted on the board.”

“The Board of Directors shall act as the governing body having the oversight responsibility of developing policies related to the organizational development, stability, solvency and change as well as be accountable for the management of the property, business and programs of the organization. The Board of Directors works in conjunction with the Executive Director.”

“HCBH participates in national and regional salary surveys, and subscribes to a human resource organization that provides data regarding salaries and hourly rates for comparable positions within the organization.”
