Mission

The Lord's Harvest's primary exempt purpose is to offer a selection of programs to help eliminate hunger in the community and provide for those in times of need.

Emergency Food Pantry Program served 22,691 individuals. Please refer to Schedule O for detailed breakdown, which pertain to Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line (28-31) herein. The Lord's Harvest is projected to continue to provide this program indefinitely as long as our community is in need.$0$23,477
Sandwich Program- Served 17,244 individuals (homeless and low income) who received sandwiches, fruit, water, and/or soft drinks. This program runs everyday and has no end date as long as our community is in need.$0$10,310

The Emergency Food Pantry Program is the primary name. Under this program we have several sub-heading programs The Lord's Harvest runs. Please let me explain for ease of reference and viewability of our records. - "Emergency Food Pantry" served 2143 guests and provides food and other household small items to families and individuals who have suffered disaster or do not have enough food or money to feed themselves or their family. "True Spirit of Christmas" served 103 guests and provides meals/items in accordance with Holiday seasons. "Thanksgiving" served 398 guests and provides meals/items in accordance with Holiday seasons. "Friday Excess Food" served 6946 guests and disburses food that was not used in other programs as well as donated items from Walmart that are dented, overripe, or close to expiration date(s). "Families with Children Summer Food" served 6018 guests. "Commodity Supplement Food" served 288, and both these programs provide food for families with children through the summer months during school being out. "Wednesday and Thursday Neighborhood Food Run Delivery". These two programs served a total of 7296 guests and allowed us to provide fresh food, fruit, vegetables, canned goods, meat and a variety of dairy type products to our guests in need. There is no end date on these programs. The Lord's Harvest will continue these programs as long as there are individuals in need, we continue to operate, and have patrons who desire to donate/be a part to the cause.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt5The Emergency Food Pantry Program is the primary name. Under this program we have several sub-heading programs The Lord's Harvest runs. Please let me explain for ease of reference and viewability of our records. - "Emergency Food Pantry" served 2143 guests and provides food and other household small items to families and individuals who have suffered disaster or do not have enough food or money to feed themselves or their family. "True Spirit of Christmas" served 103 guests and provides meals/items in accordance with Holiday seasons. "Thanksgiving" served 398 guests and provides meals/items in accordance with Holiday seasons. "Friday Excess Food" served 6946 guests and disburses food that was not used in other programs as well as donated items from Walmart that are dented, overripe, or close to expiration date(s). "Families with Children Summer Food" served 6018 guests. "Commodity Supplement Food" served 288, and both these programs provide food for families with children through the summer months during school being out. "Wednesday and Thursday Neighborhood Food Run Delivery". These two programs served a total of 7296 guests and allowed us to provide fresh food, fruit, vegetables, canned goods, meat and a variety of dairy type products to our guests in need. There is no end date on these programs. The Lord's Harvest will continue these programs as long as there are individuals in need, we continue to operate, and have patrons who desire to donate/be a part to the cause.
