“Tulsa Ballet archival collection consists of paintings, sculptures, rare books on dance, historic costumes, and sets. It serves a population of dancers, dance students, staff, board, and those scholars who contact the archives while researching their ongoing projects related to dance. Tulsa Ballet archives has mounted exhibitions at local museums, theatres, and other various venues. It is a repository of information on dance, particularly the ballet russe era, for which the company is known. It preserves items related to the history of the company, and dance history in general, for future generations.”
“endowment funds are permanently restricted by donor stipulation for the purpose of supporting the operations of the ballet. excluding the robson endowment, the endowment may distrubute 4.5% of the average market value of the portfolio for the immediately preceding three years in order to fund ballet operations. under the robson endowment fund, funds avaliable for expenditure shall mean 80% of the annual net earnings generated by the restricted fund corpus after payment of any applicable management fees (annual available funds). The remaining 20% of annual available funds shall be retained and become part of the restricted funds corpus in order to build the fund balance to a level that it may meet future price increases.”
