Summary: ccor works to advance racial justice and educational equity through long-term collaborations with k-12 schools, 2- and 4- years colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and grassroots initiatives. Our office works closely with our communities of interest: those most impacted by systemic inequities, black, indigenous, and people of color, lgbtqai2++ people, immigrants, migrants, and refugees, people with disabilities, and low-income people, to identify barriers to educational access and ways to address them. Last year, our programs served and estimated 130,000 students, educators, and administrators in oregon schools. Our mentoring and capacity-building programs served over 6,000 students who reported increased educational engagement. Additionally, our capacity-building programs raised over 6 million dollars in cash resources for communities impacted by covid-19. Our programs coordinated food pantries worked to bridge the digital divide, and provided non-academic support to students such as housing, disaster aid (forest fires), and health care. Campus compact of oregon also developed new programming and partnerships to provide expanded programming to our campus and community partners. The last two years have demanded that our organization shift its methods and structure to adapt to a world permanently altered by covid-19. Additionally, as an organization with an explicit focus on racial equity and education and community and civic engagement, we have been compelled to work with our communities of interest more closely and intentionally. In striving to embody our racial justice mission more intentionally, our office has worked diligently to improve our outward-facing program offerings, expand our training and consulting, and deepen community partnerships. Ccor has also implemented new and improved internal policies and procedures. Accordingly, ccor's accomplishments are listed below: coalition building and co-curricular programming: the organization supported new coalition initiatives. The first is the racial justice campus collaborative which convenes to support programming that centers on the voices and wisdom of bipoc communities in oregon. As a result of this collaboration, campus compact of oregon hosted its third annual black liberation in higher ed teach-in event, which had about 300 participants, all of whom were students, educators, administrators from k-12 schools and colleges, and universities across the country. In addition, campuses provided 5,000 in contributions to support this programming; these payments arrived after the year's close. Portland united against hate (puah) and campus compact of oregon partnership: campus compact joined puah's executive leadership committee in 2021 and began coordinating puah's education-focused committee. Our office has built sustained collaborative relationships with the east county rising, portland bureau of transportation, immigrant and refugee community organization, southeast uplift, apano, portland state university's queer resource center, and the coalition for communities color. Our first project, planned for 2021 but will take place in 2022, is an anti-hate summit for students and student advocates at k-12 schools and on college campuses where students have wildly reported hate violence (racialized and identity-based bullying) in the portland metro areas and across the state of oregon. Western region continuums of service and national campus compact: ccor works with the broader campus compact national and campus compact western region networks to produce conferences that address current issues in education. In 2021 our office worked with partners in oregon, hawaii, california, washington, and montana and focused on environmental justice through an indigenous sovereignty lens. New member campuses: campus compact has added the university of portland, pacific university, and lewis and clark university to its membership roster. Board of
