After hearing the members response, the board will take appropriate action.”

“Symphony Volunteers, Inc. (SVI) requested and received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan as established by the CARES Act in the amount of $6,130 during the prior year. SVI sought and received loan forgiveness of this balance as prescribed by the Small Business Administration during the fiscal year. SVI also received another PPP loan during the current fiscal year in the amount of $5,290. SVI will seek loan forgiveness for this balance as prescribed by the Small Business Administration during the next fiscal year.”

“The LPO Volunteers Chair Naming campaign is a five-year fundraising campaign to raise at least $100,000 to support salaries for Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) musicians. LPO Volunteers expects to contribute at least $20,000 each calandar year to the LPO from the funds raised for this purpose. This separate account will cease to exist at the end of the five year period when all funds have been remitted to the LPO. $40,000 was contributed from this special fundraising campaign to the LPO during this fiscal year and completes our pledge to the LPO. This amount was included in the donation amount shown on Part IX, line 1.”
