“Semi-annually, at board meetings, the agenda includes the discussion of possible conflict of interest situations and on an ongoing basis management is monitoring to prevent abuse in this area”

“The various program directors' undergo a yearly review to evaluate performance for use in adjusting compensation annually. These reviews are performed by the chief executive officer and the chief operations officer. Comparability data is available along with the performance evaluation. The annual review of the chief operations officer and the chief financial officer are performed by the chief executive officer. The chief executive officer's annual review is performed by the board of directors. The recommended compensation adjustments are presented to the board and these and all key employees must be approved by the board.”

“The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, financial statements, and form 990 available to the public upon request. Additionally, the conflict of interest policy is made available to any new hire within the organization”

“The bossier residential facility and land was sold to the bossier parish school board in early october 2024. New property was purchased and a contract to build a new residential facility was secured. That construction will be completed in the fiscal year ended june 30, 2026. The gain from the sale of this facility amounts to $1,607,777 of the $1,643,788 reported gain on 7c(ii) all assets sold that resulted in the total gain were used in carrying out the nonprofit's exempt purpose.”
