The greater lafayette chamber of commerce is the leading force in the improvement of the business environment, the economic health and development and prosperity of the region. The greater lafayette chamber of commerce is considered the premier business advocacy group in the region. A membership-driven organization, the chamber regularly assesses the needs of local business owners and executives. Programs and initiatives are fashioned to deliver strategic solutions to those needs. The chamber is results-oriented in economic and community development for its 1,200 members and the parish and area at-large. The chamber also serves as the front door to the community and provides a wealth of information and resources. Investors participate in a variety of standing committees and have an opportunity for hands-on involvement in fashionings the future of lafayette. The chamber provides networking opportunities for its members to develop contacts and to gain exposure.
