This work also includes meeting with elected officials to educate them about wildlife issues. The organization publishes a quarterly magazine, arkansas out-of-doors, which highlights wildlife issues in the state and provides information and resources for private citizens. The annual wildlife of arkansas student art contest administered by the organization engages hundreds of teachers and students from across the state each year. The organization also recognizes groups and individuals for outstanding contributions to wildlife conservation through annual presentation of conservation achievement awards.”
