“To further the charitable and religious purposes of juliette fowler foundation (jff), a texas non-profit corporation with its principal place of business in dallas county, through grants and gifts limited to jff or to organizations sponsored by or affiliated with jff as requested and approved by the board of directors of jff. All funds raised by jff specifically for juliette fowler communities (jfc), a related tax-exempt organization, and all unrestricted funds given to jff by jfc shall be used exclusively for such charitable and religious purposes set forth in this paragraph so long as jfc remains in existence and retains its status as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the code. To manage, invest, or reinvest the funds placed with jff by charitable and religious charities directly related to jff and which are included in the listing of the yearbook of the christian church (disciples of christ) in the united states and canada, with such funds to be and remain the assets of such charity, but to be managed on behalf of such charity for the benefit thereof and to be delivered to such charity at such time 0r times as may be requested by such charity. To otherwise secure by donation, gifts, subscriptions, or pledges, funds to benefit jff or for the benefit of 0rganizations and/or charities sponsored by, affiliated with or directly related to jff.”

“The organization has been granted exempt status relative to federal and state income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and applicable state codes. The organization has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under section 509(a). The organization's income tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal and state authorities. The organization is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status. The organization reports any activities that are subject to tax on unrelated business income or excise or other taxes and files all proper returns related to these activities.”

“The amount of $14,696,226 of other expenditures for endowment funds for the current year is a reclassification of net assets from endowments to other donor restricted net assets.”
