IN ADDITION TO THESE FUNDS, HUD SUPPLEMENTS THE RENTALS OF THE RESIDENTS AND REQUIRES THE RESIDENTS TO PAY A RENTAL AMOUNT. A RESIDENT'S RENT IS APPROXIMATELY THIRTY PERCENT OF THE RESIDENT'S ADJUSTED INCOME OR IS A FLAT RENTAL FEE DETERMINED BY HUD.
