As stated in the forge by-laws and personnel policy manual, it is the responsibility of staff members and board members to divulge any financial interest that they may have in the loan approval or investor acceptance process. Possible conflicts of interest are discussed at the quarterly forge board of trustee meetings when the forge board of trustees reviews and approves all new loans, reiviews the loan portfolio, internal financial reports, and examines loan committee reports.”
