Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Project is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code and a similar provision of state law. However, the Project is subject to federal income tax on any unrelated business taxable income. Management regularly reviews its tax positions and has determined that there are no material uncertain tax positions that require recognition in the financial statements. The Project is required to file, as a tax exempt organization; an IRS Form 990 which will be open for review by relevant taxing authorities for a period of three years from the later of the date the returns were files or the returns were due (including approved extensions).

However, the Project is subject to federal income tax on any unrelated business taxable income. Management regularly reviews its tax positions and has determined that there are no material uncertain tax positions that require recognition in the financial statements. The Project is required to file, as a tax exempt organization; an IRS Form 990 which will be open for review by relevant taxing authorities for a period of three years from the later of the date the returns were files or the returns were due (including approved extensions).
