“The Organization's Members have the Power to Elect one or more members of the Governing Body. "Yes" - Mentor Discover Inspire Members regularly (typically, every two years) elect Board Representatives from their Regions. The Board itself has the power to appoint additional Board members for specific purposes including Executive Officer positions. The details of these policies are documented in the organization's By-Laws.”

“The CFO emails a copy of this Form 990 and accompanying schedules to all members of the Board of Directors and reviews with the President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Program Development Director and Executive Director, Executive Vice-President including the Finance Committee members before filing.”

“The Organization regularly and consistently monitors and enforces compliance with the Conflict of Interest Policy. The Board Secretary requests the Conflict of Interest Agreement to be completed and signed and enforces with further follow up discussions when necessary. The Vice Chairman reviews the Board of Directors Manual upon orientation of new Board Members which includes the Conflict of Interest Policy. The Vice Chairman also facilitates a refresher review, that also includes the Conflict of Interest Policy, with all directors, officers, and key employees to ensure any "conflict of interest" is declared and brought to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.”

“The Executive Resource Committee of the Board of Directors has developed a process determining compensation of the General Counsel, the Program Development Director / Executive Director and others including an extensive review and approval by independent persons, comparability data, and contemporaneous substantiation of the deliberation and decision. This process continues for the General Counsel, the Program Development Director / Executive Director, the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Technology Officer. In addition, detailed analysis of the benefits and costs of Technology Providers including MDI Online CRM System, Social CMR, Marketing Automation, Appointment Scheduling with CRM Calendar Integration, Reporting and Analytics, Integration with Facebook and Google Ads also continues.”

“Organizational documents are available from the Organization's Board Counsel, Board Secretary and / or CFO by both members and non-members upon written request. The Organization's conflict of interest policy and financial statements and regular internal reports are similarly available upon written request.”

“Mentor Discover Inspire conducted the Legacy Discovery Program in accordance with safety protocols. This experiential training event continues to be redeveloped and in accordance with safety protocols continues to be delivered. The organization made changes in how it conducts the Leadership Meetings and Workshops and follows safety guidelines and protocols for face to face meetings to include video conference meetings and trainings and conducts more of its programs through video conferencing and included more face to face meetings while following appropriate safety protocols. Planning changed from an International Legacy Discovery Program with the intention to expand the offering of this experiential training program to facilitate a larger community to keeping the Legacy Discovery Program a Regional experiential weekend with guidance from International Operations. Commencement of developing a plan for International Operations to offer a course in Basic Masculinity as an excellent foundation towards courses introducing early leadership training, other valuable trainings and senior leadership training. The scholarship in the name of Jeremy P. Schreiber is not used for any operating expenses of the Corporation and will be utilized to offer scholarships to the courses and trainings offered by the Corporation. As at December 31, 2024 the balance in this account is $10,005.59 for the purpose of providing scholarships to participate in trainings.”
