Held annual community 'family fun olympics' event to promote family health and exercise (400 participants). The event is free to the community and includes participation from other county and non-profit organizations. Supported hospital employees and doctors through: support of the annual 5k run/walk event held by employees to raise money for a community non-profit organization associated with community health, and to promote employee health & fitness; held the free annual employee appreciation hospital week luncheon (at least 100 meals served) and the free annual holiday dinner for hospital employees, doctors and guests (150 meals served); gave five employee scholarships for employee continuing education opportunities that do not qualify for hospital corporate scholarsheps or reimbursement.
