“Program description kristin brooks hope center is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Our focus is crisis intervention, suicide prevention, awareness, and education. Imalive is a program of kbhc. Imalive mental health fair success metrics overview event reach participation reached up to 34 campuses in a single statewide rollout e.g., washington state, sept 2024, average attendance per event 150 to 500 students,20 to 35 increase in campus counseling visits within 4to6 weeks post-fair, 85 to 90 of attendees reported increased confidence in identifying mental health warning signs. Impact on mental health awareness 80 of students demonstrated improved scores on post-event mental health literacy assessments, 92 reported a better understanding of how to support and refer peers in crisis, 76 stated they felt more comfortable discussing mental health after attending. Qualitative feedback students described the event as eye-opening, life-changing, empowering, a safe space to learn and connect, staff and faculty praised the programs interactivity and practical relevance. Tangible outcomes several campuses launched new peer support or mental wellness clubs post-event,policy updates initiated at multiple schools to enhance mental health outreach, over 70 of host institutions requested a repeat fair the following year. The imalive mental health fair continues to demonstrate measurable impact by empowering students and campus communities with the tools, language, and resources needed to foster a culture of mental wellness and support. In the 2023-2024 fy, the imalive mental health fair program had a direct positive impact on more than 15,000 students, faculty, and staff across the us. Imalive team put on mental health awareness and suicide prevention events at montgomery college rockville, george mason university, northern virginia community college alexandria and woodbridge campuses, penn state scranton, berks and lehigh valley campuses, bossier parish community college, montgomery college-takoma park/silver spring, depaul university loop and lincoln park campuses, new jersey institute of technology, bowie state university, morgan state university, hudson county community college north hudson and jersey city campuses, suny morrisville, university of rhode island, chesapeake college, university of la verne, palomar college, san bernardino valley college, green river college, pierce college fort steilacoom and puyallup campuses, big bend community college, centralia college, walla walla community college, spokane fall community college, spokane community college, penn college of technology, illinois state university, volunteer state community college, jacksonville state university and caldwell university. The program trained students, faculty, and staff to identify signs of suicidal ideation and provided clear pathways to connect individuals with on-site mental health professionals. Imalive has been widely praised by student life and counseling services leaders for its proven success in improving mental health outcomes. Customizing the program to reflect the unique environment of each campus led to increased student participation, a more positive atmosphere, and stronger relationships among students, faculty, and campus wellness teams including student life, counseling services, and health and wellness departments. In november 2023, our organization proudly partnered with the salvation army montgomery county corps to host a free, community-wide mental health symposium in montgomery county. This event was designed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide valuable resources related to mental health and wellness. Through a series of expert-led workshops and interactive sessions, community members of all ages were empowered with tools for self-care, strategies for supporting others, and information on local mental health services. IMALIVE HAS BEEN WIDELY PRAISED BY STUDENT LIFE AND COUNSELING SERVICES LEADERS FOR ITS PROVEN SUCCESS IN IMPROVING MENTAL HEALTH OUTCOMES. CUSTOMIZING THE PROGRAM TO REFLECT THE UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT OF EACH CAMPUS LED TO INCREASED STUDENT PARTICIPATION, A MORE POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE, AND STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS AMONG STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND CAMPUS WELLNESS TEAMS INCLUDING STUDENT LIFE, COUNSELING SERVICES, AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS DEPARTMENTS. IN NOVEMBER 2023, OUR ORGANIZATION PROUDLY PARTNERED WITH THE SALVATION ARMY MONTGOMERY COUNTY CORPS TO HOST A FREE, COMMUNITY-WIDE MENTAL HEALTH SYMPOSIUM IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY. THIS EVENT WAS DESIGNED TO RAISE AWARENESS, REDUCE STIGMA, AND PROVIDE VALUABLE RESOURCES RELATED TO MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS.
