This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation, the purpose of which is to engage in any lawful act of activity fot which a corporation may be organzied under such law. Within the parameters of the general purpose stated abobe, the specific purposes of this corporation include:a. To provide funding to and for, and otherwise assist, california institutions & similar entities which are engaged, or which seek to engage, in activities which will further the opportunities to aquire education & learning pertaining to the field of hotel & motel management and the lodging, hospitality, and food services industries.b. To provide funding & otherwise to assist in connection with activities which will further research & knowloedge in the field of lodging, hospitality and food service industries.
