“Additional donation income for volcano adventure camp. In 2018 we began reserving tent cabins for multiple-days at the volcano adventure camp (vac) for youth groups not participating in the youth camping grant program. The same services are provided to groups that reserve the camp as to those that participate in the youth camping grant program; the only difference being the lack of grant monies to groups that reserve the space. Reservations were made with no fees or costs associated with the reservation. However, donation amounts were suggested and, in some cases, received. Any donations received in this manner are restricted to offset the cost of maintaining the vac facility. Endowment fund. In july 2018 lassen park foundation established an endowment fund and investment fund at the shasta regional community foundation (srcf) in redding. At that time we closed the previously established endowment fund at north valley community foundation (nvcf). All funds in the nvcf fund at the time were transferred to the srcf. The contracts with srcf for both funds clearly state that the funds now belong to srcf and will be recorded on their balance sheet. For this reason, the lpf financial statements no longer include endowment fund monies.”

On the disclosure statement, board directors and employees are also required to list any position that they hold in senior management, or on the board, of another non-profit organization. Board directors submit their statements to the chair of the board, who shall retain a copy for oversight. Employees deliver their statements to the executive director. All statements are required to be completed and delivered by september 30th of each year. When there is any material change in the information contained in any disclosure statement, the person who originally submitted it must submit written notification of the change as soon as practical, but no later than 30 days from the date of change, to the person required to receive such changes.”
