“The Whistleblower Policy of Sembrando Sentido Inc. approved on November 6 2019 and amended on December 15 2019 applies to all directors officers employees and volunteers of the organization. It mandates these individuals to maintain high ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and organizational policies. The policy encourages confidential reporting of any suspicious or unethical conduct without fear of retaliation. Concerns should be reported to the management specifically to the Executive Director who will investigate and inform the Board of Directors. No reprisals will be taken against those who report in good faith. The policy ensures confidentiality allowing anonymous reports if they are detailed and specific. Determinations of whether a conflict exists and actual conflicts are reviewed at the management level by the Executive Director with the Board addressing concerns related to accounting and auditing. The Executive Director handles investigations but cannot delegate them to anyone implicated in the concern. Reports and their resolutions are recorded and kept confidential as per the Document Retention Policy. Members must act in good faith with any malicious or unfounded accusations treated as serious offenses. Members acknowledgment of this policy is confirmed by their signatures.”
