The sole member of the corporation is the virgin islands housing authority.

A draft copy of the form 990 is emailed from the tax accountant to the executive director. The executive director then forwards the document to the remaining board members for review and approval.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

No commissioner or employee of the virgin islands housing authority ("viha") shall acquire any interest, direct or indirect, in any housing project or in any property included or planned to be included in any project; nor shall he/she have any interest, direct or indirect, in any contract or proposed contract for materials or services to be furnished or used in connection with any housing project. If any commissioner or employee of the viha owns or controls an interest, direct or indirect, in any property included or planned to be included in any housing project, he/she shall immediately disclose the same in writing to the viha and such disclosure shall be entered upon the official records of the viha. Failure to so disclose such interests shall constitute misconduct in office.
