“During the taxable year 2024, 275 students and educators participated in the workshops and model united nations (mun) conferences. -on wednesday, april 3, 2024, a model u.n. Workshop was held at the benjamn harrison vocational high school in cayey in collaboration with the caguas education region of the puerto rico department of education. A total of 13 educators participated in this workshop. -on saturday, april 6, 2024, the model united nations virtual workshop was held via zoom with 68 participants (59 students and nine educators). -on saturday, may 4, 2024, the xl model united nations conference was held at the benjamn harrison vocational high school in cayey, with 64 participants (57 students and seven educators). -on saturday, october 26, 2024, the model united nations virtual workshop was held via zoom with 92 participants (86 students and six educators). -on saturday, november 23, 2024, the xli model conference was held at the center for science and technology of the caribbean (c3tec) in caguas. Thirty-eight people (33 students and five educators) participated. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28-second accomplishment -in 2024, as part of our mission to ensure that students and educators participating in the model un program not only think globally while acquiring knowledge and skills but also act locally, two new united nations student organizations started at the fine arts school miguel angel juli collazo in cayey and at the university of puerto rico in cayey. -in 2024, we launched global schools program: puerto rico with the first eight online spanish lessons for the classroom (grades 8 to 12) on climate action & sustainable cities and communities through an alliance with the global schools program, and the puerto rico department of education.”
