“A draft of the return is circulated via email or distributed during the monthly Board of director meeting. Board member thoroughly review and discuss the document, seeking clarification from the external accountant as needed. Once all inquiries have been satisfactorily addressed, the return is formally approved and signed by the chair of the organization before being submitted to the IRS.”

“At the designated Board meeting, members will review the Conflict of Interest policy and propose any necessary amendments. Each member will receive a "Disclosure of Conflict of Interest" form for annual signature, attesting to their independence and freedom from conflicts of interest.”
