After three intense days of gathering information, questioning experts, and deliberation, the 24 Participants in Weekend One of Reclaim November Ohio! chose their top three issues: 1. Weak Economic Growth; 2. Unemployment, and 3. The Federal Deficit and Debt. CEF Reclaim November Ohio! The September 20-23 & October 5-7 Citizen Election Forum picked up where July left off. Another group of 24 randomly selected citizens gathered to get in-depth information on the three issues chosen by the participants in July: 1) Weak Economic Growth, 2) Unemployment and 3) the Federal Debt/Deficit. After seven full days of voters discussions with more than a dozen experts, and deliberations among themselves on economic issues, the Citizens Election Forum portion of Reclaim November Ohio! concluded in early October.

IRS990ScheduleD/Form990ScheduleDPartXIII/Explanation0Jefferson Center has a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3), and Jefferson Action has a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code and has adopted Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, ASC 740-10. The policy of the Organizations is to evaluate uncertain tax positions, at least annually, for the potential for income tax exposure from unrelated business income or from loss of nonprofit status. Each Organization continues to operate consistent with its original exemption application and each year takes the necessary actions to maintain its exempt status. Jefferson Center has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under the Internal Revenue Code and charitable contributions by donors are tax deductible. In compliance with its exempt status, the Organizations annually file Return of Organization Exempt Form Income Tax (Form 990). The returns for the years ending December 31, 2009 and later remain subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service.
