“The organization and its executive board are made up entirely of members. All members are entitled to vote. The executive board consists of the executive committee, standing chairs and the principal of the school or appointed representative.”

“The executive committee consists of all elected officers that were voted in by the pta general membership. Each executive committee position has one vote. The standing chairs are part of the executive board, have legal voting rights and constitute a quorum during the executive board meetings. Each standing chair position has one vote. These chairpersons are appointed by the executive committee and the principal of the school or appointed representative.”

“The standing rules govern the mckitrick elementary school pta executive board. Standing rules should be reviewed at the beginning of every fiscal year by the executive committee or appointed committee; then adopted, amended or rescinded by majority vote of the executive board. From time to time the standing rules may be reviewed and or amended. They may be adopted without previous notice by a majority vote at any business meeting. However, no standing rule in order should conflict with the bylaws of the national, state or mckitrick elementary school pta. The bylaws govern the mckitrick pta general membership. In the event of conflict between said bylaws and articles of association, said bylaws shall govern.”

“Copies of the completed draft form 990 (including required schedules) will be distributed to the organization's president in either electronic or paper form for review and approval. Any questions or concerns will be noted and addressed.”
