“During 2016 the ocular surface research and education foundation hosted three fellows. Two of these fellows participated in three federal government sponsored research projects and one independent research project. The other fellow was involved in clinical work and data analysis. Regulation of limbal epithelial stem cells by native niche engineering of human corneal endothelial grafts prevention of proliferative vitreoretinopathy preprogramming of human trabecular meshwork progenitors by 3d matrigel these fellows collaborated on three papers, two of which have been published by the scientific reports and one is in manuscript preparation. All attended the avro conference and three posters were presented along with a paper on isolation, identification and characterization of multi- potent progenitors from human trabecular meshwork (in progress.)”
