Part III Program Service Accomplishments

Program 1: School and Staff Support BCESPTA provided over $51,000 in direct support to the school through teacher grants, classroom supplies, student recess kits, technology funding, student incentives, and grade level events. These programs benefited approximately 900 students and 80 staff members. Program 2: Teacher and Staff Appreciation BCESPTA hosted multiple staff appreciation events and provided meals, gifts, and supplies throughout the school year. These efforts supported staff morale and recognition for approximately 80 faculty and staff members. Total expenses exceeded $8,800. Program 3: Carnival Fundraiser and Family Engagement A school wide fall carnival served over 500 students and families. It included over 30 booths, food vendors, and entertainment. While raising over $8,800 in net revenue, the event also advanced community building and student enrichment goals.

Schedule G, Part II Fundraising Events

Column C ("Other Events") includes the following 5 events: Glow Dance Me and My VIP Dance Popcorn Fridays Friendship-grams First Day of School Pictures These events generated combined gross receipts of $18,643.17, with $5,028.52 in direct expenses and net income of $13,614.65. No cash or noncash prizes were awarded. No facilities were rented.

Schedule A, Part III, Line 12 Contributions for Goods/Services

BCESPTA receives fundraising revenue from events such as popcorn sales, dances, and merchandise. The PTA treats these as program service revenue rather than contributions, since goods and services are provided in return. No revenue from these events is counted toward public support under contributions.

Officer Transition Treasurer

Treasurer Kimberly Hebert served until Fall 2023. During the December 5, 2023 Executive Board Meeting, Christina Orfanos was appointed Interim Treasurer by vote of the Board and assumed full duties thereafter. An Audit was performed at this time pursuant to our Bylaws and State Law.

Program 2: Teacher and Staff Appreciation BCESPTA hosted multiple staff appreciation events and provided meals, gifts, and supplies throughout the school year. These efforts supported staff morale and recognition for approximately 80 faculty and staff members. Total expenses exceeded $8,800. Program 3: Carnival Fundraiser and Family Engagement A school wide fall carnival served over 500 students and families. It included over 30 booths, food vendors, and entertainment. While raising over $8,800 in net revenue, the event also advanced community building and student enrichment goals.
