The SJFA (DBA Sarasota Sun Devils) organizations mission is to inspire developing student athletes within a safe place to learn, grow, and enjoy competitive sports, while nourishing scholastic excellence and encouraging a strong work ethic. We believe that challenging our children to excel in areas they are drawn to, such as youth sports, is critical to their development as student athletes. Our organization is driven by talented volunteers that selflessly donate their time and expertise to help our communitys youth. We believe that competitive team sports provide a unique environment to allow student athletes to build social skills and that enables them to consistently show good sportsmanship. We have seen that student athletes who participate over several years continually build a strong work ethic, which led to self-confidence and a strong self-image.
