Results obtained throughout the funding period for the extramural principal investigator grant further defined the molecular interactions between the gene apoe4 and the alzheimer's disease factor ab. These experiments may provide mechanistic insights into the role of apoe4 as a risk factor for the development of alzheimer's disease.”
