The members of the organization elect the governing board of directors.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

A bookkeeping system is in place to prepare a monthly financial statement based on the recorded deposits and checks. The financial statement is shown at each meeting to all board members. At year-end the financial statement is used to prepare the 990 tax return. Upon completion the 990 is reviewed by board members during their monthly meeting. If there are any questions, the board president communicates with the field auditor and the independent cpa before filing the return with the irs.
