Mission

Partners in recovery has 5 recovery residence houses. This supportive housing has been in operation for 17 years through the efforts of phoenix house, inc., partners in recovery, inc., first united methodist church of tuscaloosa and numerous volunteers. Each house has 3 tenants who are in recovery. These houses run on a community premise with the peers in-charge. The outcomes for this housing are reduced drug and alcohol use, stable employment, accountability, building support system,and stable housing. The recovery residences are certified by alabama network of recovery services a chapter of narr (national alliance for recovery residences).
