Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6

General membership: all persons, companies, firms, and corporations involved in the sales, promotion,advertising, and/or manufacturing of food, food related products and other products normally sold in food outlets; and suppliers of equipment and services to the food industry are eligible for membership in the association. Honorary membership: the association chairman, for the term of his/her office, may bestow upon a reputable and outstanding citizen who contributes through his profession to the objectives of the association,an honorary membership. Honorary lifetime membership: upon the recommendation of the executive committee and approval by a majority of the officers and directors, a person who has been a member of the association in good standing for at least ten consecutive years and who has retired or is at retirement age and in the view of the executive committee has contributed outstanding service to the association may have this honor bestowed upon them at the annual convention or at another time chosen by the chairman. Personal member: persons who have been involved in the food industry as defined under general membership and have retired or are no longer involved in the industry may apply for a personal membership.
