“The purpose of the birmingham police athletic teams, inc. Is to foster, encourage and cultivate a mutual appreciation and respect between law enforcement personnel and the youth of the city of birmingham, al through participation and involvement in boys and girls amateur athletic training and competition.”

“Completed the 2018-2019 season by touching the lives of 1,500 youth in the city of birmingham. Made up of 80 basketball teams, 3 basketball all-star teams, 48 softball and baseball teams, 8 all-star teams, 1 alabama dizzy dean all-star championship team, 2 alabama dizzy dean world series winners, 2 alabama dizzy dean world series sportsmanship awards. We had 72 participants in our volleyball skills and fundamentals summer programs for boys and girls. The upcoming 2019-2020 basketball season will kick off saturday december 14, 2019 with our jamboree. The first games are scheduled for saturday january 4, 2020. The local radio station v94.5 will promote the games. Partnering with birmingham ciry schools to provide locations to play the games.”
