Epworth house has a hud approved management contract with methodist home for the aging( the sponsor and controlling entity). Epworth house board/officers are appointed by the board of methodist home for the aging a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation organized to provide long term care for the aging.

The 990 is reviewed by the methodist home for the aging executive staff and epworth house officers.

All interested persons must sign an annual conflict of interest statement. A conflict of interest committee was appointed by the methodist home for the aging board to monitor and enforce conflict of interest issues.

The finance committee of the board of the methodist home for the aging shall set the compensation for the executive staff. The executive staff shall recommend compensation for key employees and staff at all the facilties. The recommendations are reviewed, approved or modified by the finance committee.
