Form 990, Part III, Line 4B, Program Service Accomplishments

Alpha sigma tau national foundation funded educational programs offered by the alpha sigma tau sorority in the following areas: mindwise seventy-five percent of behavioral health conditions are diagnosed by the age of 24. Initial symptoms often appear during the college years, when exploratory behaviors with substances and alcohol also begin. The college years are an exciting time of personal growth, but they can also bring academic, social, and financial pressures, which can worsen underlying mental health and substance use issues. By taking a brief mindwise screening, students can learn if they have a behavioral health issue and learn signs and symptoms. Behavioral health which includes mental health, substance use, and more is a key part of your overall well-being. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a behavioral health professional. Think of these as a checkup from your neck up. This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources. New and collegiate members can take the screening on their phone, a laptop, or tablet anonymously and from the privacy of their own residence hall room. Because of this, mindwise screenings reach students who might be hesitant to contact a college counselor or therapist directly. Officer academy 2025: equip officer skills training equip gives newly installed sorority leaders the skills to manage the interpersonal and operational challenges they face in their new position. Rise partnerships guide the convened members of alpha sigma tau officer academy through equip: officer skills training, a developmental process focused on improving core leadership skills including goal setting, navigating relationships, and project management. This process consists of 16 pre-recorded video lessons, 8 live virtual practice/q&a sessions, and supplemental resources for chapter leaders to utilize throughout their term. Registered executive committee officers will receive a self-paced, online preparation course in advance of the virtual program kick off. Recorded and live content will be available to members on a set schedule over the live-learning portion of the program. The program is designed to enhance participants' leadership skills as organizational officers. The program is facilitated by volunteer alumnae members and staff using the curriculum provided by rise partnerships. Archives project alpha sigma tau sorority has a rich history dating back to 1899. The sorority's archives not only contain stories that will engage and educate our own members but also share alpha sigma tau's place within women's history. Historyit is a transformative technology and services company that provides clients with a new approach to making historical collections more useful, meaningful, and accessible.
