“Membership in the association shall be open to any person, firm, partnership, limited liability company, corporation or other business entity engaged in the business of providing television reception or service for the public by means of a duly authorized, licensed or franchised cable television system or systems in the state of alabama. The association has two classes of membership, system members and associate members. Each system member is entitled to one vote for every 1,000 subscribers on each matter submitted to a vote. In addition, system members are entitled to appoint either one, two, or five board members based on the number of subscribers for the system member. Associate members are not entitled to vote on any association business.”
