Mission

Unite those engaged in the recognized branches of the real estate profession for the purpose of providing a beneficial influence upon the profession and related interest. Promote and maintain high standards of conduct in the real estate profession as expressed in the code of ethics of the national association of realtors. Further the interest of home and other real property ownership. Designate, for the benefit of the public, those individuals authorized to use the terms realtor and realtors as licensed, prescribed, and controlled by the national association of realtors.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The association adopted the provisions of financial accounting standards board accounting standards codification no. 740, accounting for uncertainty in income taxes, on january 1, 2009. In accordance with this standard, the association has not recognized any respective liability for unrecognized tax benefits as it has no known tax positions that would subject it to any material income tax exposure. No tax years remain subject to examination prior to december 31, 2014 for all major tax jurisdictions.
