“During 2014, espace did not receive any grant funding. The executive director's main function was to look for additional grant funding, and to keep espace's name out in the community. We are doing this in the following ways: -continuing to work with companies we either have or are incubating. -representing espace at various professional events and professional organizations including the colorado space business roundtable, the colorado space coalition, the boulder economic council, the boulder chamber of commerce, etc. -numerous meetings with jay lindell, the colorado state aerospace champion, who is building a network of resources for the aerospace industry. Espace has been a major contributor in developing his strategic plan, and our hope is that we will be a paid partner in the implementation of the plan. -exploration of grant funding such as the nsf icorps and the nciaa faculty grants for entrepreneurship. -numerous discussions with cu-boulder regarding the financial support of espace.”
