MNASCA ALSO TRACKED BROADER DEVELOPMENTS IN STATE HEALTHCARE POLICY AND INSURANCE REFORM WITH IMPLICATIONS FOR OUTPATIENT SURGICAL CARE.MNASCA CONTINUED TO FACILITATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBER ENGAGEMENT WITH POLICYMAKERS, INCLUDING EFFORTS TO CONNECT ASC LEADERS WITH THEIR LOCAL LEGISLATORS TO DISCUSS THE REAL-WORLD IMPACT OF PROPOSED POLICY CHANGES ON THEIR CENTERS AND THE PATIENTS THEY SERVE.IN ADDITION TO ITS ADVOCACY WORK, MNASCA ADVANCED ITS MISSION THROUGH PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION. IN 2024, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED ITS SIGNATURE TWO-DAY ANNUAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE, OFFERING EXPERT-LED SESSIONS, PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING, AND TIMELY DISCUSSIONS ON ASC OPERATIONS, COMPLIANCE, QUALITY, AND LEADERSHIP. THE CONFERENCE FEATURED TWELVE TARGETED EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS DESIGNED TO HELP ASC PROFESSIONALS GROW IN THEIR ROLES, STAY INFORMED ON INDUSTRY TRENDS, AND BUILD RESILIENCY AND WELL-BEING IN A DEMANDING HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT.
