Mission

The Jewish Student Connection is dedicated to establishing non-denominational Jewish clubs in public and secular private high schools, providing teens with the opportunity to explore what "Jewish" means to them personally, and aiming to help teens foster proud connections with Jewish culture, with the Jewish people, with Israel, and with each other.

IRS990/Description0The primary activity of the Jewish Student Connection (JSC) is facilitating JSC club meetings during non-instructional time in the public high schools. These club meetings are weekly events in each of the separate public schools where students have initiated a JSC club and sought JSC professional staff support. Meetings consist of a report by the student officers, and educational program or activity, leadership training, and refreshments. Programs and activities address topics of interest to the teens such as Israel awareness, the Jewish perspective on business ethics, dealing with hate or the Jewish perspective on drugs.
