Per bylaws article viii, section 4: there shall be a standing executive committee consisting of the officers of the board, the president/ceo, the chair of the finance committee, and one (1) other member of the board to be elected for a one (1) year renewable term at the annual meeting by a majority vote of the board. This committee may act on behalf of the board if necessary between meetings of the board. Among the duties of this committee shall be to determine the compensation of and review and evaluate the performance of the corporation's president/ceo, to submit recommendations for board appointments and for nominees for officers of the board, and to facilitate the board's self-assessment and plans for board formation and professional development.

Temporarily restricted net assets are donor-restricted for a specific use or by the passage of time. Income earned from the principle amount is unrestricted. The donor-restricted net assets are to be used for curative treatment and rehabilitative therapy of pediatric illness, disease, or deformity.

PART X, LINE 2:

Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the hospital and recognize a tax liability if the hospital has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by various federal and state taxing authorities. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the hospital, and has concluded that as of june 30, 2024 and 2023, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the accompanying consolidated financial statements. The hospital is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress.
