Lewis museum at american beach after a hiatus accomplishing new research, collection organization and digitation, website re-design an exhibit renovation and technical updates. The reopening of the a. L. Lewis museum at american beach was received by the community and visitors with excitement and rave reviews. The grants and donations for the collection digitation allowed the museum to establish the initial framework for the accessibility to the public of historic artifacts, documents, and exhibits to a wider audience. The website redesign served a valuable research tool for scholars and enhanced visitor understanding and created a platform that seamless guided visitors through the museum's rich history exhibits and offerings. Visitation increased in the last quarter of 2022 and educational programs enhance community outreach.”
