It has been active in healthcare at the halifax hospital for the low to moderate income groups. It has expanded reading programs in the schools. Late night bus transportation was obtained for workers who travel to and from late night jobs. It is presently addressing the issue of affordable housing. A substance treatment program is on going in the county jail & community. It has doubled the street level narcotics units for designated areas.”
