- Adoptions: united for families subcontracts for adoption recruitment, case management, and support services. The program has again exceeded its performance target for the year, ensuring permanent homes for a record number of treasure coast children. Support services have expanded in repsonse to adoptive family interest, and works to ensure that adoptive famileis are nurtured through the post-adoption adjustment period, and at any point thereafter in their lives that the family seeks additional support.
- Activity 3
- Foster care licensed placements have been reduced by 34% overall. We expanded our foster care recruitment and retention program (foster homes) to include an additional level of care to allow children stepping down from specialized therapeutic placements or in need of a slightly higher level of care than traditional foster care which in referred to as our enhanced foster care level.
