“The florida jets is a non profit organization based in central florida. Our mission is to develop and train student athletes from 5 yrs through 18 yrs old, from the novice level to the national top elite and olympic levels. We provide the opportunity for under privileged, at risk children to be introduced to the sport of wrestling through funding of equipment, tournament fees,insurance, travel cost and coaching. The club has produced world team members, numerous national champions, all american's and has created an enormous opportunity for athletic scholarships for college. The club has been awarded the prestige's gold medal award from usa wrestling, the olympic governing body for the sport of wrestling. The gold medal award has been presented to the florida jets the last 15 years for its accomplishments and dedication to the sport of wrestling.”
