“Since 1991, the united food bank and services (ufb) focuses on low-income families, individuals, children, and seniors with a mission to: to provide assistance for those in need, moving them from a state of hunger and impoverishment to self-sufficiency, empowerment, and self-reliance.”

“This year has been marked by taking on a capital campaign for a new building that quadruples our capacity. Being the only food bank with our mission in east hillsborough county, it will be pivotal in the community with supplies and self-improvement opportunities. Serving east hillsborough county, ufb has distributed 4,241,941.2 million pounds of food and personal necessities in the 10 communities in east hillsborough county we serve - plant city, dover, thonotosassa, seffner, brandon, valrico, lithia, riverview, historic bealsville, and wimauma. These successes were made possible through the generosity of our donors and supporters, the dedication of our volunteers, and the collaborative efforts of our staff and partner businesses and agencies.
