“Membership is kept informed on recent land development regulations throughout volusia and flagler counties. Members form committees to review and comment on proposed regulations imparting information to the membership and the community. Vcard members were kept informed of land development regulations and changes thereto throughout volusia and flagler counties. Members formed committees to review and comment on proposed regulations, imparting their professional and technical knowledge and information to members, elected officials, regulatory officials, and the community. Vcard promoted and fostered a shared understanding about growth and development by facilitating open dialogue about how and where communities can responsibly redevelop, grow, and build. Vcard published timely information on land development matters to ensure a transparent process. Members monitored proposed policies and legislation and acted as a liaison between government agencies and property owners and development professionals. Vcard provided educational forums and seminars regarding growth and development matters, with emphasis on low impact development, stormwater management, affordable housing, and roadway improvements. Vcard provided networking opportunities allowing its members to forge strong connections, expand their professional networks, and grow their organizations. Vcard recognized and commended its members, government officials and community leaders who facilitated and fostered responsible development.”
