Talented marketers and award-winning agencies submit thoughtful, strategic campaigns and creative elements for judging by an outside set of judges. In march of 2019 we hosted our 4th annual marketer of the year awards. With more than 170 attendees and almost double the number of applications yoy, 44 from 28, this event generated our best satisfaction rating yet of 96%.”

“Network luncheons - ama hosts keynote luncheons seven to nine times per year with an average of 80 attendees. A strategic focus of the chapter is to bring in high-level marketing leaders to speak on a variety of topics and trends affecting the marketing industry today. The goal of the luncheons are to maintain value for our members by improving their experience, continuing education and assist them in developing their network with professionals from the marketing community.”

“Leadership development happens both at the local and national level. Board members have the opportunity to attend regional and national ama leadership conferences where they learn skills via real-life scenario role play and speakers on a variety of topics. Most board members also oversee a small committee of volunteers, giving them the experience of managing a team that they may not otherwise have the opportunity in their jobs. Additionally they are a critical part in our annual strategic planning and budgeting with monthly progress reports and accountability.”
