“The board of directors shall make policy for and oversee the management of the organization, including budget approval and policy, selection of, and contracting with, the music director/conductor, selection of the executive director, direction of fund-raising activities, implementation of long-range planning and development policies, and oversee the mission of the organization. These responsibilities may be delegated to the executive committee, subject to review and approval of the board of directors.”

“The membership of this organization shall consist of the board of directors and the professional staff of the orchestra, including the principal conductor/music director and the executive director.”
