Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The jcc's endowment consists of an individual fund established for a variety of purposes. Its endowment includes donor restricted endowment funds. As required by u.s. Gaap, net assets associated with endowment funds are classified and reported on the existence or absence of donor-imposed restrictions.

PART X, LINE 2:

The jcc qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(a) as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been recorded. The jcc recognizes and measures tax positions based on their technical merit and assesses the likelihood that the positions will be sustained upon examination based on the facts, circumstances and information available at the end of each period. Interest and penalties on tax liabilities, if any, would be recorded in interest expense and other non-interest expense, respectively. The u.s. Federal jurisdiction and the state of florida jurisdiction are the major tax jurisdictions where the jcc files income tax returns. The jcc is generally no longer subject to u.s. Federal examinations by tax authorities for the fiscal years before 2011.

PART XI, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Special event expenses netted with revenue 65,763.

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:
