The sapp cemetery association is a small community cemetery. Membership is open to all who have ties and/or an interest in the community. Regular maintenance is undertaken yearly on the property to ensure the perpetual care and beautification of the grounds. When needed and approved by the membership body, additional improvement projects are undertaken around the property. In 2009, sapp cemetery purchased additional property adjacent to the cemetery to expand the grounds. Painting, fence repairs, and additional beautifcation projects were also undertaken throughout the year. In 2012, gazebos were built on the property so that visitors of the gravesites would have places to sit and rest. Additionally, fences on the property were repaired and portions replaced. In 2018, a tree service was brought into the property to trim and remove trees as needed. This maintenance helps insure grave stones are not damaged by branches and tree limbs.
