The Augusta-Aiken Chapter of the Project Management Institute provides members with various professional development opportunities. This includes books, webinars and other educational materials. In 2018 the Augusta Aiken Chapter hosted a professional development day providing over 100 attendees opportunities to hear best practices in leadership, strategy and business management, and technical project management. Through-out the year, the Chapter provides numerous training courses to help attendees to prepare (or maintain) certifications. These training sessions were attended by 100+ members and guests.$1,935$28,884
The Augusta-Aiken Chapter of PMI hosts 10 dinner meetings a year to our members and guests. These dinner meetings provide attendees the opportunity to network with other professionals. Guest speakers share first hand experience and best practices in project management. These dinner meetings are attended by 40 to over 80 members and guests$1,125$22,806
Chapter Networking and Promotions provides members and guests various networking events through-out the year. These networking events are usually attended by 18 to 30+ members and guests, depending on the capacity for the event. Additionally, the PMI head-quarters provides board members various conferences through-out the year.
